The frothing wand on the Classic 2018-19 model is a professional wand, similar to the one you will fnd on a Gaggia professional machine. Here we are showing the models together to explain the way to froth and steam milk with the Classic. To get more froth in your milk, you need to add more air while frothing. If you want a flat white, you do not want to add too much of air. Controlling the air intake is important. If you place the nipple of the wand just under the surface of the milk, when you open the steam wand, it will add air. If you need more air, you need to lower the jug to enable more air to be added.
